Sam Phillips, a South African stage and screen actor veteran dies at the age of 72. He was a legend and inspiration to many people and he worked both on screen & behind the scenes as he was also a director, writer, producer & a music composer.
Ntate Sam has been in the acting industry for over 40 years and have shared his talent with many shows including Phamokate, Generations, Jacob’s Cross, The Queen, The Wild, Kings of Joburg and many others.
His fans and colleagues are sharing their heartfelt messages across social media. Sam’s death come after Mr Welcome “Bhodloza” Nzimande’s & Lindiwe Ndlovu’s deaths that left Mzansi in shock. Entertainment industry is really taking a knock and it’s painful.
